OUR MISSION

At Colson Farabaugh Memorial Fund, we understand that losing a child is an unimaginable tragedy that takes a profound toll on both the mind and body. In the first months after such a loss, life can feel like a blur, filled with grief, anger, and confusion. Our mission is to provide a compassionate and supportive community for those navigating this painful journey.

We strive to ensure that no one feels alone in their grief.  Together, we honor the memory of the children we’ve lost and help families find hope and strength in the midst of their pain.

WHAT WE ARE DOING

We have created a Grief Care Package to send to anyone who has lost a child. While we know nothing can take away the pain, we hope this package offers a small source of comfort and support.

Each care package includes:

  • A copy of It’s OK That You’re Not OK by Megan Devine

  • Resources for counseling, therapy, and grief support groups

  • Gift cards to help with everyday needs

  • And most special of all—a soft fleece blanket embroidered with the child’s name, a lasting reminder that they are always loved and remembered

We believe that helping in this way keeps Colson’s legacy alive. Though we grieve every day, we are simply trying to bring even a small bit of comfort to others in the midst of unimaginable loss.
